RRB Group D Selection Process 2026
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) follows a four-stage selection process for the Group D (Level-1) Recruitment under CEN 09/2025. Candidates must successfully qualify at every stage to be considered for the final appointment.
Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
The CBT is the first stage of the recruitment process and is conducted in online mode. It consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness & Current Affairs.
Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates shortlisted from the CBT must appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which is qualifying in nature

Only candidates declared medically fit and found eligible in all previous stages are considered for the final appointment in Indian Railways.
