Rajasthan APO Recruitment 2026 Notification Released for 371 Posts
Commission invites online applications for recruitment to 371 posts of Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) in the Home Department (Prosecution). The recruitment for Non-Scheduled Areas will be conducted under the Rajasthan Prosecution Subordinate Service Rules, 1978, while recruitment for Scheduled Areas will be governed by the Rajasthan Scheduled Areas Subordinate, Ministerial and Class-IV Services (Recruitment and Other Conditions of Service) Rules, 2014
The total number of vacancies has been received from the department and may be revised if required. The category-wise and reservation-wise distribution of vacancies is prescribed in the official notification. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can submit their applications online within the specified dates.

| RPSC Assistant Prosecution Officer Selection Process 2026 Explained | |||||
• Selection Process The selection of candidates will be made through a Competitive Examination conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). • Stage 1: Preliminary Examination The Preliminary Examination will be conducted as per the prescribed scheme and syllabus. Candidates approximately 15 times the total number of vacancies (category-wise) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on their performance in the Preliminary Exam. The Preliminary Exam is qualifying in nature for shortlisting candidates to the next stage. • Stage 2: Main Written Examination Shortlisted candidates will appear in the Main Written Examination.
