CAT 2026 Notification Out Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have officially released the CAT 2026 Information Bulletin for candidates seeking admission to MBA and other management programmes offered by participating IIMs and several non-IIM institutions
The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 will be conducted as a computer-based examination on 29 November 2026 (Sunday) in three sessions across India. Eligible graduates and final-year students can submit their online applications from 3 August 2026 through the official CAT portal.
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria, registration schedule, application fee, exam date, admit card schedule, and other important instructions before completing the online application.

The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), also known as the PhD Programme at most Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), is a full-time doctoral programme designed for candidates interested in advanced research, teaching, consulting, and academic careers in management. CAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with the required minimum percentage from a recognized university. Final-year students and candidates awaiting results are also eligible to apply under certain conditions .
Professional degree holders such as CA, CS, CMA (ICWA), and FIAI can also apply if they meet the prescribed academic requirements. Fulfilling the eligibility criteria allows candidates to appear for CAT 2026; however, final admission to IIMs depends on CAT score, institute-specific cut-offs, academic profile, work experience (if applicable), and performance in the selection process.
